We were advised to visit da cecco when we arrived late to assisi. We did not expect much, but the pasta from main menu was one of the best in my experience. The chef knows how to deal with trufles. Great wine selection.

This restaurant located in Piazza S. Pietro is easily accessible by car because it is located a little way from the medieval heart of Assisi but is quite near to the Basilica of Saint Francis. Small, atmospheric establishment. Friendly, prompt service. Classically tasty food. Happy customers here.
Loved this restaurant, food, prices and service were great. Staff were most helpful and made us very welcome.
Brilliant food, the Spezzatino di Cinghiale is my absolute favorite! Staff are lovely and we go there every time we go to Assisi.
During a one-day visit to Assisi in April 2012, we had lunch at this restaurant. We were greeted warmly and the service was outstanding. The food was absolutely delicious--pasta with bolognese sauce, bruschetta, and the house wine. If we had stayed longer in Assisi, we would have made this restaurant our home away from home every day! Prices were very...
