We dined here 3 times. Wonderful intimate small Family restaurant. Traditional food is excellent, reasonably priced & service good. Ribollita [thick vegetable & bread soup] was superb as was strips of beef with rocket & pecorino cheese. The complimentary Grappa or Armaretto when you have finished your meal rounds it all off very nicely. Highly recommend

This place was a great experience. It's a very small restaurant but the food it's excellent. We had the Gnocchi with the secret sauce and Oh my! it was perfect. I'm still talking about their food and the service was great. The owner was very charming. If you go to Sienna make sure you stop by.

We went to Siena as a day trip from Florence and went to this restaurant for lunch. They open at 12:30 and we were the second one’s there. Soon the restaurant would get busy with a few tourists, but mostly locals. The menu here is hand-written and only in Italian. We had a delicious crostini dish that was made with... More

What a awful and inconsistent pace. Three night we ate here as Italian businessmen and each night was different. The food was average for Siena the service poor and the arrogance from the owner was unbelievable. There are far better restaurants nearby. The Indian kitchen staff are clearly abused and work long hours for poor money...just look through the side... More

Our sister and brother-in-law had stayed in Siena several years ago and were frequent visitors to this restaurant. We are so glad they took us on this trip. It was everything they'd said - small, intimate, friendly staff, great food. This is a must if you're visiting Siena. A "hands-on by the owner" experience, down to the after-dinner drink!

We entered in this osteria in a grey, cold & rainy day anticipating the Mille Miglia race. Soon after we sat down they brought us some hot & delicious Ribollita that lighted up the spirit. We also ordered 'trippa fiorentina', pasta with black thinner-than-paper sheet truffles but definitely mouth watering. I learned long ago from an Italian sommelier that in... More

We have eaten 4 dinners here and 2 lunches because it is close to our apartment. It is well worth the money because the food never disappoints. The menu is in Italian only, and hand written in script that can be difficult to decipher, but the young waiter will translate item by item. The portions are generous so I recommend... More

This was the tenth evening meal for us in Italy and was the worst. Poor quality and terrible value. Date 22 May 2013. - The antipasti of a plate of roast vegetables at €7.00 contained one tomato, two slivers of aubergine, four slivers of courgette and two pickled onions. It was edible. - The pasta of gnochhi at €8.50 comprised... More

This small restaurant is very sympathetic and welcoming. Pretty good food and reasonable prices. The "house wine" is simple, fine and inexpensive. Attention is also good and nice.

Small, family run and delicious. The gnocchi are like nothing you've ever had, delicate and light and they won't tell you what is in the sauce. Ditto for the pici: great pasta, and the sauce is a mixture of pesto and some kind of meat sauce.Try the ravioli also. Good selection of wines (some from San Felice) at good prices.
