We had actually to wait too long, like 15 minutes before the waiter came bring us the menus. The food was fine, not the best one we tried in Siena.

I had the "tuscan steak" there in Dec 2009 amazing! Will go back there again for sure!! + free wi-fi! :)
Tonight we discovered this lovely restaurant of the road from Piazza del Campo The antipasto was great a selection of different starters from Siena Our primo piatto, the Picci with traditional ragu was one of the best pasta dishes I ever had Finally the tagliata was mouthwatering Thank you very much for the lovely evening
We stopped here on the recommendation of our B&B (Palazzo Bruchi--almost next door) after arriving in Siena in the evening. Though this was the first of many wonderful meals we had over the next two weeks, it stands out in my mind for quality, value, and atmosphere. Our server (owner?) was gracious and helpful. There was a good crowd on...

The food here is good, but it's not as good as we hoped it would be, based on the reviews. The fried mozzarella balls with carmelized onions sound better than they were. Very small place, we ate at one of the tables out in the street. Friendly waiter. Nice bottle of Montepulciano at 14 euros. Wife's fried chicken was nice (but unexceptional) however my grilled lamb was fantastic. Juicy, tender and with nice caramelised bits - delicious. Strongly recommend you try the grilled meats here
This rather out-of-the-way place is worth a detour, for sure. The staff is very helpful and attentive; the table wine is great; the food is carefully prepared. I had the fried chicken with mayonnaise-garlic sauce; my wife had crostata di verdure--greens wrapped in a fine crust. Both were very good. The dolci (desserts) were exceptional--panne cotta and tiramisu. I would...

I was there with my wife and everything was excellent: wine, starters, pasta, meat and dessert. Also the price was really OK, especially considering the quality of the food we had. We spent 40 Euro each without missing any course. They have also a good wine selection and friendly staff in the center of Siena. Highly recommended.
If you are staying near here, it is a definitely worth going to - it is situated away from the Campo towards the Porta Romana entrance. We sat outside on the cobbled street as it was a lovely warm evening. The food is very good, prices reasonable and we had helpful and friendly service.
Amazing... Came here at the suggestion of our inn keeper, and it was wonderful. We actually came for lunch and had salad, lasanga and an amazing steak cut (pictures coming). The beef wtih "aeromatic herbs" was the best thing we had in Italy. Not only was the food amazing, but the price was unbeatable... But I guess thats what happens...
