Try their chickpea 'pie' in focacia. Not pie but a pancake made from chickpeas - delicious. Slightly disappointed with my sasauge and mushroom pizza - reckon I should have just gone for a simple margerita!! Very good value.

The service was excellent, the food was fantastic and prices very reasonable. Not touristy at all, obviously a local favorite. The atmosphere is nothing fancy, kind of a hole in the wall, but great pizza. And, my husband had a good glass of wine for only 2 euro! We tried cecina for the first time here and it was delicious!...

Hidden away in a dark ally, you'll find Il Montino, a great no-nonsense pizzeria with excellent pizza's. You can pick from two different sizes, but no pizza is above 10 euro. The quality is excellent, both of us were pleasantly surprised!
Locals clearly favor this restaurant, we must have seen dozens of people nipping in for a focaccia or a...

Not the place for a romantic dinner, however if you are looking for great pizzas and wine at a very reasonable price, served in a frenetic, buzzing atmosphere then look no further. There is also a takeaway counter where we got some really delicious foccaccia bread sandwiches the next day for lunch, queue up and choose your filling- with bread...

This is an interesting place to visit and clearly a massive favourite by locals for the foccacia - In the hour or so we were there, maybe thirty locals queued up for the foccacia to take away but I didn't see one of them go for the pizza. We all had pizza. The base was heavy and the toppings were...

Very busy with queues - which tells its own story. Very popular - the reason, good pizzas and reasonably priced drink! Take out and sit down - situated just off a main street. Service a little slow but not a big issue - the staff were working their socks off! Sits about 20 people outside and more space inside. Looked...

It's so busy with the locals, but that's because it's the best in Pisa. Well worth the wait for a table or if you're in a hurry take away.
Try the cecina, it's amazing!
