The one in San Francisco square has a garden out the back, and an pizza oven in the shop. We went for their excellent salad, as well as the pizzas.

although cheap, this is the place to find best pizza in town. and, of corse, best icecream.
i guess their advantage is that they are not close to amphitheater area, so that they can have very decent prices and top quality.
we've spent an week in lucca and, although we stayed quite opposite to this place, we walked to it...

By luck we stayed within a short distance of this pizza nirvana and quickly appreciated the range taste and value. The staff were helpful to tourists speaking English but it is obvious that the locals know about this little treasure. Wood fired oven producing thin crust pizza to die for! Highly recommended they will do a pizza or sell you...

We had very good pizza for a reasonable price. Good place where to go if you are hungry and on budget. I would not choose this place for romantic dinner or bussines lunch. The meal must be good -there was a lot of local people.
Other family members had told us about this pizza place and we visited the first time in 2007, we came back again on our way to Cinque Terre to try it again. The pizza was just as good as my husband remembered it and his mother raved about the white pizza.
One of our most favourite pizza places in Lucca. Simple and tasty, thin crust pizzas. Always busy and seems to be a favourite of the young. We've enjoyed this ristorante several times over the past two visits and will do it one more time before we leave. Price for two with a litre of wine is around 20 euro.
All I need to say is this is REAL pizza cooked in an authentic wood fired oven and the flavour that gives will put any Pizza Hut or Dominoes to shame!
from the outside, you would think that no one was eating there, but everyone, lots of people, are in the back patio having a great time. I like the informality of a pizzaria because you can order whatever you want from the menu without worrying about 1st plate, 2nd plate, etc. And as we are vegetarians, that helps. Yes, and...

Very fast food. Proper pizza, hot, thin crispy crust, excellent tomato sauce and not too heavy on the toppings. It's more of a fast food cafe than a restaurant but that doesn't detract from the experience. Staff are attentive, and good at what they do. Bottom line is that thisnwasnby far the best pizza we ate in Italy. And cheap...

We tried a few pizza places in Lucca but this was the best place we found inside the walls. Their range was extensive, and the prices were good. We had 1 large (BIG) which they can do "half and half", 2 different selections, 1 small, which wasn't exactly small, a litre carafe of house red and water all for 27...
