Loved the pasta and pizza but thier salads are big and delicious. Big hearty salads are more challenging to find in Italy. Not here, a few to choose from and they were terrific.
We spent 2 dinners and a lunch here during our honeymoon in Florence. First, the food was incredible, and despite the fact that we were clearly one of the very few tourist couples, we didn't feel out of place. Our dinners ranged from pizza to steak and an incredible rocket salad, with house wine. This was our absolute favorite place... More
We stumbled on this lovely square with a market one lunchtime just around the corner from the Pitzi Palace next to the Santa Spirito church. Friendly place, great pizza's straight from the wood fired oven all at a reasonable price.
My husband and I ate here last year and again this November. One of several eateries in Piazza Santo Spirito and definitely the best of three we have tried. Another touristic place in Firenze. Everything OK but something missing. I had a pizza and a beer. Why do they charge 2 Euro coperto if you are served on a bare table?
We were a group of 7 and we find here for lunch. The house wine and pizza were delicious! The spaghetti was the best I've ever had! Definitely recommended!
This restaurant is buzzing place for both lunch and dinner. The fresh local menu has something to please everyone, meat, fish and vegetarian choices. Everything is good, served by helpful staff. Sit outside and watch Florence life pass you by, perfect!
Located on a relatively quiet piazza, Santo Spirito, Borgo Antico is a wonderful spot to have lunch al fresco on a nice day. We had just climbed the Duomo and were about to explore the Biboli gardens when we stopped here for lunch. The two pizzas we ordered with quite good with a nice thin crust and an especially flavorful... More
Visited this restaurant several times in June this year. Stopped by for a light lunch today and they did not disappoint! Spinach salad with shaved Parmesan and slivers of roasted almonds, sundried tomatoes. Pizza Napoli was delicious as usual. Spent about €30, including 1/2 little carafe of house wine, bottled water. Great food, good value for money.
a nice place frequrnted mostly by locals, food was good and so was the service. The burger was cooked to perfection and the pasta the kids had was also quite good. Prices are OK too. The only problem qe had was that despite if javing teserved a table inside we were seated close to door which resulted in a burst... More
