My husband and I love this restaurant. Look at the outdoor garden setting and you will know what I mean. We only had less than 3 days in Florence but ate there twice for dinner. The staff were very friendly. My favourite was the pasta with the Tuscan cabbage. It's a very nice authentic restaurant. More

Tailor-made service, professional and empathic staff (they know exactly how to deal with the different types of clients: funny, "casual", formal...), smiling faces, delicious food and a family-like atmosphere... The kids liked it very much, too (which means that they were in a really good mood for an "after-lunch-time"-stroll throughout Florence). By the way: The terrace is a little oasis.... More

I first visited this restaurant ten years ago and was intrigued to know if it was still as good as I remebered it. It was! Good, proper Italian food (no tourist menu) in a lovely setting with warmth and atmosphere. The waiter was fun and friendly, and remembered us when we went back a few nights later. I'm almost reluctant... More

While in Italy we tried to go to smaller, off-the-beaten path places instead of restaurants in touristy areas. This place was our second choice for the night (first was full without reservations) and we chose it because it had a good rating/reviews on TripAdvisor and was a short walk from our hotel. We went in March and it was very... More

This was a hotel recommendation. Lot's of locals. Has the atmosphere of an old Tuscan farmhouse. Menu had a number of variations on traditional Tuscan dishes. We were very happy with our meal. The server spoke decent English and was very helpful. We will return next time in Florence. More

Went in cold and hungry really just looking for something to eat (nothing special) and SO happy we came in because not only was it decently priced but it was the most amazing meal for a great price I've had since I've arrived in Italy. Study abroad student on a budget on a weekend trip to Florence and fell in... More

Charming, Delicious, Great Ambiance, Great Food, Great Service, jazz and blues background music, friendly and cordial wait staff. We stayed two weeks in Italy and this place had the best food and the best atmosphere. Save room for the chocolate cake; it's their grandmother's recipe. More

I went here on a first date after reading some reviews on the site and getting a recommendation of the place from an Italian friend. The Osteria did not disappoint. The staff were extremely welcoming and kind, doing their best to make us feel at home, while making sure that we had a private corner. The aperitivi were excellent, and... More

Went to this Osteria on the recommendation of Edo at Il Giglio d'Oro. It was a great value. Tasty options for my vegetarian friends and seafood was great for me! It was quiet and relaxing after a day of touring around. More
