Good looking menu, with lots of Tuscan specialties. House wine was a little pricy, but the food was authentic and low priced. We dined there because we saw an all local patronage. Happy with meal, but they added up the bill wrong and threw in a 10% service charge.... and still added it wrong.... How many ways can you screw... More

This is a very small low key restaurant. If you are a tired traveler who wants a great meal at a reasonable place to rest your head in preperation for the next day this place it it! The employees at this restaurant were the nicest we had anywhere in our Italian travel. We ate there multiple nights after being disappointed... More

My wife and I ate here in 2000 and declared their ravioli the best we had ever had. We just revisited on June 30, 2011, with 3 children this time, and it is still the best. Even the kids loved it. The wait staff is fun and attentive. Itis outside and if their is a knock on the place, it's... More

We had dinner at "Da Ganino" yesterday, and it was so bad I felt I had to write something here (first review, so bear with me). The only good thing about this osteria is the location and the place itself, but frankly you can find places like this pretty much everywhere in Florence. We had a complete meal shared in... More

We visited both Rome and Florence and this is the best osteria we've been. The truffle tagliateli are amazing! We came three times in the restaurant. It is a small and cosy place, not pretentious but very welcoming. Staff is extremely friendly. The location is also very centra. If you ever come to florence make it your first stop! More

We visited Da Ganino for dinner one evening while on our honeymoon across Italy. This is one of our top favorites of the entire trip across Rome, Florence and Venice. Da Ganino is located very close to the Uffizi and the Ponte Vecchio bridge. It is an adorable tiny restaurant with friendly local service and OUTSTANDING food and house wine.... More
