I was actually in the mood for the traditional maialetto, but i quickly changed my mind when i saw the seafood on offer at King's. My polpo (octopus) starter hit the spot with just the right balance of flavour and no sharp acidity from the tomato. We have just returned from Sardinia and spent four nights in Alghero. We went to Kings restaurant on our first night and we both had such an amazing meal that we went back on our last night too. Nice place for dinner if you appreciate white table-linen. Great view over the waterfront.
Especially the more senior and experienced staff was very friendly and service oriented. The younger ones were pretty much just there to do their jobs.
The food was good. Not fantastic, but above-average.

This restaurant is located on the coast promenade, overlooking crashing waves. It has the advantage of having an outdoor terrace to enjoy the sea air and sunshine and a beautifully designed interior, to allow you to focus on the task in hand: having a wonderful meal.

Weate here twice during our 5 day stay. if all you want is Pizza then this is not the place for you. A great local produce menue predominantly fish is brilliant.The muscle soup is fantastic. The owner and his staff could not do enough for us. I recommend this restaurant 100%.

We both had a (different) tuna dish: both were delicious! Also the red house wine was very good. Service was very good and friendly. We also had an interesting discussion on the desert wine wich was offered to us by the owner of the restaurant :-)

I am 13 years old and I ate with my parents in this restaurant. I liked the seabars and my brother liked the raw tuna. The service was very nice and they were very interested in the guests. Everything was fresh. We hope we can come again to Kings. Joost
