Highly recommended, we chose fish menu and vegetarian menu and both were top class. Both the wine and coffee afterwards was of the same high quality. The service was of the same high class. All in all a great experience. Remember to book well in advance, the place is pretty well known and number of tables is limited. More

Before going any further, let me emphasise that this is meant to be a POSITIVE review. By all means go to Al Tuguri - it will fulfill almost your every expectation for a restaurant in Alghero. I do need to comment, though, that another reviewer's mention of fiddling with the bill *might* have a grain of truth to that. But... More

I had read a lot of recommendations for this restaurant. Yes, it is charming, service is friendly and excellent, and the food looks delicate when served. But there is not much taste to it. And it is expensive - we paid 40 Euros for a cold lobster salad starter. (In comparison, we had a 7 course menu for 50 Euros... More

We visited this restaurant twice on our trip (and ran into another couple who were on thier third visit). The main reason to keep coming back is the excellent seafood. Sea urchin pasta particularly recommended. More

Nice food but they ruined the whole deal by manipulating the bill. Sad. More

I went with my two kids. The restaurant is small, beatyfull, detailed full of the mediterranean style. The owners are charm, gently and warm. We had a very special meal there and a very nice time. It's one ot the three Alghero best restaurants (and I've tried many, many): Sa Mandra, Andreini and Al Tuguri. It's not cheap, but the... More

We read about this restaurant in a Vi-a-Vis tourist guide. Our lunch was very tasty, we even discovered a few new flavours, and the kids liked it a lot (even without typical kids food ;-) and we had a great time recharging our batteries for new visits to come. The service was very good and friendly. More

This little gem is situated on a small side street. The owner is very talented chef that engages enthusiastically with the guests. Situated on several levels, each dining room is intimate with few tables. The dining experience was perfectly paced and oh so satisfying. Perfect recommendations of wine paired with the meal. More
