My wife and I wandered into the restaurant as we walked the old city. Our Italian is challenged but we had no issues ordering a good, reasonable fish lunch. The restaurant seemed to be popular with the locals and it was quite busy. The service was fine.
Taranto's old city is rough looking, so I would think twice about walking...
