Located on a busy square in the old city, it was fun to watch the crowds passing by while enjoying terrific food. 4 of us shared several different appetizers, pastas and main courses and enjoyed every bite. We even ended up buying our ceeramic wine cups to take home as souvenirs

My co-workers chose this as a fall-back solution for a business dinner and they booked a banquet dinner. The food was great, the quantities huge, and (particularly since we were travelling from Scandinavia) the price was very low. The Scandinavians loved the seafood and the Italians in the group said this was like a local wedding feast. We were all... More

Have been here in Novembre 2012 with some friend that had an advise about the palce from a local journalist. The advise was good, the place has a nice atmospher but what matters the most is the food, tipically local with that extra touch, excellent. Do not miss the "antipati", let them decide, they depend on the season (wich is... More

The location is great, in a lovely square in the old town, there are a few bars and restaurants in the square, but not overcrowded. The food was excellent, we do not eat meat but the seafood and vegetarian dishes are wonderful.

I had the hand-made orecchiette pasta with pesto. Fantastic! My boyfriend had---gulp!---the horse. As much as I hate to admit it, it was excellent. (Sorry, Trigger!)

This restaurant is on the edge of an attractive and lively square in Bari's old town, just a stone's throw from the sea. The food was good and the local specialities are represented on the pleasingly concise menu. However the tone for the evening was set by the attitude of the staff on our arrival; although we'd booked by internet,... More

This is a beautiful situated trattoria between the old town, shopping streets and the sea, in a lovely old market place. The food was good, like the service. We tried mozzarella with pancetta, a huge plate with whole mozzarellas, outside soft, inside fluent, and a lot of pancettas around. In Bari you can see how the women make pasta named... More
