Been going for years and never fails to be so good. The freshest of ingredients simply and beautifully cooked. Not the cheapest but hey! this is Venice to eat well you have to pay the price

Delicious food, sweet place, great service.
Delicious in every way, very good wine list.
Loved it, wish I had bought the cook book!
Make sure you book as the place is tiny and only has a few tables. Felt very Venetian and off the tourist trail

Great food in a tiny osteria, perfectly cooked seafood. The sauces, all of which are expertly crafted, unusual, subtle and delectable, and the extremely warm service, are what will stay with you. Book ahead! It's popularity is well deserved.

Second visit to Testiere last week. I still think the late sitting is a better option, but they don't chase people out, so you'll end up waiting in the alley for a few minutes, thus it isn't the most restful start to your meal. But the food is sublime. Gnocchetti with baby squid was fabulous, scallops with orange better still....

We had the mix of grillend fish and a nice Brunello wine. The fish was super fresh. The service excellent and very personel.

We had dinner here in early May. It is a lovely, small restaurant. We had the sea bass and it was excellent! Good local wine. Service was very good. We had our hotel make our reservation 3 weeks in advance. While we were dining there were numerous walk-ins that were turned away as every table was full. Would definitely eat...

Next t Ike we are in...

This restaurant sells fish - nothing else but fish. It is tiny - around 20 seats so booking is vital.... and it is expensive. On our visit it was virtually full of English speaking diners.
The fish dishes and the service were superb. However, the food was no better than we ate in a lot of other Venetian restaurants but...

Loved the Cod fish purée with Maranello white polenta and the pumpkin filled raviolli.

We absolutely adored this restaurant located in an alley. It is small but food, service and ambiance are perfect. You definitely need reservations in advance. I highly recommend ordering rzor crabs, sardines, black ink pasta and for your main dish, the mixed grill. The mixed grill is superb. My mouth is watering as I write the review.
