My wife and I stopped here after sight seeing waiting for the restaurants to open for dinner. Everything there was very cheap compared to the rest of Venice. We only had wine and people watched so I don't know how the food was. But the ambiance and service was great. More

Excellent wine (from 1.50 Euro), lovely bruchetta (also 1.50) - we took a takeaway bagful of those little sandwiches with us to the airport. Great location too, with outside seating at no extra cost. Ended up totally stuffing my face and came back for more! More

The Venetian mid-day custom of a cichetti stroll is one of my favorite pastimes while there. Zemei is run be two wonderful twin brothers who make crusty crostinis with dozens of wonderful toppings. A must try with shades (ombre's) of wines. More
