Tiramisu-2€. Coperto-2€. Pesce fresco. Grigla-16€. Gamberi di fiume-11€. It's had to find good-looking modern-design cafe with tasty food in old "used" venice. Impronta-just what I needed - clean, modern, nice.
Service is fast and pleasant. Fish is fresh. Nothing special but quite tasty. There are a lot of positive people sitting around. There are a lot of tables for 2...

Impronta is about as minimalist trendy as you will get in Venice. Modern, yet still warm and inviting; attracting, (for Venice at least), a very young crowd. Great food but hot and bustling. Not the place for a romantic meal but the quality of the food make up for it.
More imaginative than the usual Italian food and good size portions.

We ate here based on good reviews, and the food we had was good, though the table adjacent seemed to have made better choices with the prawn cocktail (a poor description!) and seafood spaghetti which both looked fab.
Tiramisu for dessert was delicious, and the wine we had was also good.
The one sticking point was that they added service...

Great lunch.....I had a prosciutto, Parmesan with olives salad that was delicious and my husband had a pita with prosciutto and mozzarella wrap. The wrap was substantial and tasty with quality ingredients. We had fries on the side which were enough for 2 people. The house wine was very good at $1.50 a glass. I haven't had a bad glass...

Small authentic modern bistro style restaurant in Venice, frequented mainly by locals but also by some lucky tourists who stumble across it. The food is excellent and only excelled by the warmth and friendliness of the lovely staff. This was our second trip to Venice and we ate there every night of our trip except one, need we say more....
