Called in on a Sunday night, suggested by our hotel concierge. Absolutly delighted from start to finish with complimentary prosecco to start, and limoncello to finish. We had seen the serves were generous, so ordered only one course, sea bass for "him", and salmon for me. Both were excellent, and had vegetables on the side. Decided to share a mixed... More

We stumbled on Ae Sconte, which was almost opposite our hotel (da Bruno), and were delighted we did. Very friendly - a glass of prosecco on the house to greet us - and fine food. Particular highlights were the scampi risotto, the mixed fried fish in a delicate batter and especially the salmon in herb sauce, simply one of the... More

This restaurant was recommended to us by good friends of ours in Sydney australia and oh my did it not disappoint!!! We went there the first night of our arrival and wanted to go every single night of our trip! The service is impeccable- your greeted with a bottle of champagne on arrival. The manager is very knowledgable about the... More

OK. We are pretty seasoned travelers. Can find a decent place to eat just about anywhere. After talking to locals and our upscale hotel staff we were having one disappointing meal after another during our week in Venice. FINALLY found this tiny gem around the corner from our hotel. We had a total of 3 meals at this delightful spot... More

This restaurant is a little hidden jem. There's a couple of tables outside in the quiet plaza area when weather permits, very cozy. After our complimentary prosecco, I enjoyed a wonderful meal of zuppa di pesce (fish soup - probably my favorite dish on my entire Italy trip) and mixed fried seafood. The servers were very attentive and friendly. My... More

The staff were very pleasnt and courteous, providing help with language and the food was delightful complimented with great wine. Venice is sometimes a lottery for finding good, qaulity establishments at a reasonable cost for Venice, a... More

We booked here because of the high ratings on this site. It was all good enough, but felt like an outdated suburban Italian restaurant in the UK (artificial flowers on the table etc). Our food was perfectly OK, although my partner regretted his choice of cuttlefish. I found the portions rather too large. Service was friendly, and the frequently changing... More

We made reservations here for our first dinner in Venice, and we were treated to a wonderful experience. We arrived early for our reservation and were seated with absolutely no problem and greeted with a round of complimentary Spumante. The primis and secondis were delicious, each being large enough to be a meal in themselves, but we couldn't stop eating... More
