Authentic Venetian in a quiet location, no outdoor seating, but good atmosphere. Quick service, but quite expensive and small, so pressure to turn the tables. An American couple who objected to the higher price charged for sitting down, got short shift from the owner, which ended in raised voices, the waiter ripping up the bill, after discounting it, with a... Andy and I absolutely loved this place. Mauro, Sergio, Piero and Tosta Panne made you feel like you were at home and rolled out the red carpet to us. Thank you Mauro!!!!!! The food was exceptional!!! Even the pizza place around the corner, the pizza was to die for. We would definitely go back to this restaurant when we find... More

Avoid this place. From the outside it looks like an off the tourist path, authentic little restaurant but don't be fooled. We paid 46euros for 2 lasagne, a green salad, two small waters, a small beer and a coffee. They add 3euros a head for the bread and then get rude when you ask for a receipt The lasagne was... More

Nice small place to relax. Small menu but good. The chocolate cake was great. Good service very quick and no pressure to turn the table. More

Visited within days of re-opening. Menu is still quite limited whilst they get on their feet but good quality and value (e.g. fresh seafood pasta for 12 euros). The new manager is passionate about fresh, seasonal ingredients. Very attentive and friendly. Handily placed between Accademia and the Guggenheim Museum. More

Rather more an Osteria than a true restaurant, this popular establishment closes around 8 p.m. so not a place for late night dining. The small kitchen produces a limited range of hot dishes but always a good selection of cichetti on the bar top and a glass display case filled with a range of tramezzini and panini with a variety... We've just returned from 4 nights in Venice and having ate at some very good, but expensive restaurants near San Marco Piazza, we decided to walk into the Sestiere of Dorsoduro to get away from the crowds. And we're so glad we did. We found this little gem of a restaurant in the square of Campo San Vio, about 2/3... More
