The ambience is what you may expect in a tipical bar and trattoria, people seating around, chatting and having a good glass of wine: nothing special but absolutely worth a visit for the good wine, the excellent and real food, the nice ambience and the fliendly service. Don't miss the sfilaccino con polenta or the polpette al sugo among the... More

Fun place, popular as a bar and a restaurant (reservations needed). The walls are full of knick knacks and one eats well for a fair price for the Veneto. More

The fact that it is so difficult to reserve a table here speaks for itself. This is a fun place that really lifts your spirits. Excellent value for money. We had a great time - thank you! More

You just know that its a good choice when it is so busy, even on a Monday lunchtime in November that you have to share a table if you are going to get in. We did, and did not regret it. The atmosphere is busy, full of locals and great service from 2 really busy and efficient waitresses. Its an... More

This typical inn is located in the heart of the old city. The overall atmosphere takes you back to the old times as the furniture and the decorations are 'dated' , but in a positive way. They convey the idea that time has stopped. The menu provides a wide selection of typical Regional dishes and non as well as wines.... More

I reserved a table 1 day before the dinner, and the owner told me that everithing would be ok for the day after. Really, we had the dinner in a... More

We stumbled across Osteria l'Anfora while strolling and due to its clear occupancy by locals decided to give it a try, and it was so good we came back 2 days later. The menu is hand-written and changes daily depending on what is fresh in the market. Everything we had has superb, especially the pastas and fish (we have the... More

Having eaten here several times in the past and been impressed I wanted to return on my trip to PD last week. However on both visits we were disappointed, the food is very standard fare and far too greasy. The whole experience was made worse by a surly waitress on our second visit. I shall not be returning to Anfora... More

I recently had dinner here with friends and was quite impressed with the quality of the food. This is a charming, unpretentious place with simple decor and fair prices, but everything was delightful, freshly made and delicious. More
