The room is small and crammed, but quite charming nonetheless. In the warm season, there is a pleasant outside area. Service is correct but the manager is quite pushy. The menu always looks very enticing at this place, but the dishes almost always fail to impress or stir deep emotions. It would be wrong to say that one eats poorly... More

This is a gorgeous little restaurant with only 7 tables so be sure to make a reservation. Even on a freezing night in February all the tables were occupied. The scallop risotto was perfection and the roast pig in rosemary was succulent and divine. Great wines from the Trentino were reccommended by the charming sommelier. More

My wife and I went for a last minute night out from the kids. The food was excellent. I had a local pasta (papardelle) and truly exquisite pork medallions. My wife had the seafood taster. Both of us enjoyed our choices (and each other's) immensely. The desert -- an apple pastry -- was divine. The wine steward was knowledgeable, the... More

Le Due Spade had been recommended by several friends who really know food and wine. In fact, on the basis of their recommendations we had been sending people to the restaurant but had never gone ourselves. The holidays offered an opportunity and we enjoyed an incredible lunch. We enjoyed the atmosphere and unique physical environment, It fully delivered on its... More

I have eaten at Le Due Spade twice and both times was a joy. The first time I was on my own, never a pleasant mode to have dinner, but I thoroughly enjoyed my meal even though I was on my own. The second time was with a large group of colleagues and we had a great time. The food... More

I have a particular liking for Tasting Menus which faithfully highlight the territory, for restaurants with historic/inviting/warm ambiance, for professional but friendly service...as well as for finely prepared and presented food! Le Due Spade in the center of charming Trent was more than satisfactory on all counts. During the Christmas holidays my daughter and I had the pleasure of dining... More

"Ancient" and very famous restaurant in Trento, considered the best in town. The ambient , low and warm, creates straight away a lovely atmosphere and make us comfortable, it is the right place for an intimate dinner.. Although people come here to eat well, and to taste the traditions of Trentino, done perfectly, with the right care for the presentation.... More

I have tried quite a lot of restaurants in the area and there is, none that even qualifies as runner up. The service was top notch ... friendly, knowledgable and personal, certainly not sniffy or stiff as it is sometimes the case in Michelin Star decorated restaurants. As expected, the menu featured mainly straight up cuisine, made from local products.... More

A perfect meal. I was planning to go to Le Due Spade for a while, and today I had the opportunity. Instead of choosing, I've got the midday menu - a three course meal, acompanied with two kinds of wine and water, including also a bread basket and coffee. I could try to describe the flavour, but I'll fail. so... More
