Tre Galline (three chicks) is an astounding restaurant in an area in Turin called as "Quadrilatero Romano". Is absolutely the right place if you look for traditional Piedmontese dishes. Base of their menu are most famous local recipes as Bagna Caôda (fresh vegetables to put in a garlic/anchovies dip) and of course "Bollito", different kind of boiled meat served with... More

Very decent traditional restaurant, slightly old fashioned. Don't expect fireworks, go for the classics, notably the bollito, and you shouldn't be disappointed. The service is courteous, the prices correct. More

Formal ambience. Dress properly. Food reasonably priced. Stand out dish was the chicken liver and truffle pasta. I loved the wine. Superb selection of red wines by the glass at very reasonable prices. For example, 4 euros got me a glass of a 2007 barbera d'asti that had the structure and complexity of a very expensive red. Our waitress was... More

The "tre galline" (three hens) is a famous restaurant located on the border of the "nightlife district" (quadrilatero romano). The food is largely traditional (agnolotti, bolliti, ecc.) however there may be some "haute-cuisine2 proposals on the menu as well. Excellent the "carrello dei bolliti" with a large selection of meats and the relative sauces (green. red, mayo, ecc.) and the "agnolotti... More

I thought it was better because many friends told me that it was the place to see when in Torino. My expectations were high and the food failed to impress me. Agnolotti were ok and antipasti too. The bollito was really good. Prices are too high, for wine too. The ambiance is very old Torino, nice to experience. More

This is an upmarket restaurant in the centre of Turin where you have to ring the doorbell to be let in. The premises are made up of various rooms, some more attractive than others. As our reservation was squeezed in at the last minute, we weren't assigned the cosiest room but it was perfectly adequate. I was missing some wall... More

Le tre galline is a renowned restaurant in Turin serving traditional food. If you don't eat that much meat, probably this isn't for you... The place is quite cozy and quiet. Be sure to reserve a table as they're always full. More
