A very interesting dining experience in the hearth of Genova's historic district, just 100 m from Colombo's birthplace. A typical Liguria food selection with some interesting variations, nothing too radical though: we can suggest the tuna steak, the seafood raviolis and the deep-fried mix, however everything shows care in choice of the ingredients and preparation. Wine selection was fair but... More

A friend recommended this place to me, and I'm quite glad he did! The food is excellent (and best described by "fine" not as in "okay" but as in "refined"), since it works on the bases of genoan cuisine (with some influence from nearby Provence) giving them a small twist, but never reaching Nouvelle Cuisine which I personally cannot stand.... The restaurant is in a very nice location and near nice spots in town. The welcome is warm and everything looks nice. Food is local and fresh, service is ok; in summary a good place with its own character. The only remark is the bill which is a little bit higher of what expected for a normal meal with 2... More

Food is fresh made, typical and good. Try baccalà (codfish) alla ligure or pesto. Take 'latte fritto' as dessert. Service is good but not really professional. The restaurand is in a good location (near porta soprana, one of Genoa's symbols). It's well refined inside but there isn't enought room between tables. I went with my wife and the table for... More

Menu full of good local dishes. I particularly enjoyed the strips of beef fillet with rocket and parmesan shavings.

This is a nice resturant, the dishes were very tasty, but i think it was a bit overprized. The seating outside is great. Service was very good.

We recently visited Genoa and came upon this restaurant one evening. We had a lovely meal of local cuisine, the fish dishes were very fresh and the deserts were delicious. The owner was kind enough to offer us a glass of dessert wine which complemented the meal wonderfully. I can definitely recommend this restaurant.
