Full of business people having mid-day lunch -- didn't seem to be much of a tourist draw. Had spaghetti neri, which was excellent, and a fresh and simply-prepared sea bass. It caught my eye because of the location -- down a very narrow alley and off the main drag. Enjoyed the meal. BIG portions of both dishes.

I had lobster risotto and a lovely salad for lunch. We sat in the front room by the window and shared a lovely white wine. It was very nice.

I ate here twice on the recommendation of colleagues and had two very good meals, Italian cuisine with daily specials. Pleasant atmosphere and staff

I figured be safe and order spaghetti with tomato sauce and basil...it seriously tasted like canned tomato sauce with 2 tablespoons of salt. I could tell it was store bought sauce as the color was not dark red but super light red almost orange and the consistency was that of store bought sauce. My wife did order the minestrone soup... A nice little restaurant in a tiny little street. Friendly staff and good food, but not extraordinary.

We were staying at the Best Western Metropoli near here and needed somewhere open on Monday night. This was reasonably priced and open! The food is not served instantly, i.e. by microwave, but takes a while and is piping hot, nicely presented and beautifully cooked. There is a reasonably priced winelist. The markup is the same everywhere it seems, 3x.

restaurant which was listed in Michelin Guide and had 2 forks in 2010, seems lost its value. Food is mediocre and price is Euro 35 to 50 a head. Good desserts but rest was dissapointment.

My partner and I went to this restaurant due to the reviews on this site. We were hoping for a traditional meal. The food was plentiful...too much in fact! The restaurant prepares everything to order so please do not expect the food to be quick. We placed our order and were in the middle of the main course when a... More

a small, very pleasant restaurant with an excellent service and regional ligurian food at highest culinarian level. A top place to go, if you like excellent food.

Decent food, but smaller portions. Branzini was excellent and was served with some vegetables. The special dinner was cod and was much less to my taste. Good pasta. If you're staying at the Best Western City Hotel, and are just too tired to head out to another restaurant, it is worth a try.
