Second time we eat here. The previous time was in 2010. Both times we got solid value and good quality. For the views, local specialties and price, you can't beat it! Service was average.

The owner of our B&B recommended this restaurant and we are so glad we ate here! Great fish and mussels. And a great atmosphere too! We didn't get the fish soup but it looked delicious. Would recommend making a reservation.
My fish soup was excellent. My other half's meal, veal scalopine, was less stellar but mine was so good and generous that he shared it.
We stayed in Monterosso al Mare for 4 nights and 5 days. We got in late the first night and based on a recommendation from the hotel manager where we were staying, we went to Ristorante Belvedere. The food and service did not disappoint. A lot of the restaurants in the main square can be quite expensive, but the quality...

We can't wait to return so we can enjoy the pesto once more. Definitely make reservations because they fill up fast in the summer.
This restaurant was recommended by our hotel in Monterosso so we walked to the old part of the village to give it a try.
We were not disappointed at all.
The vegetable soup was great and so was the mixed salad and the main dishes - the pasta boloneise and the anchovies.
The white wine was good too.
Service was...

Happened to stop here for lunch just before an entire tour group stopped in for lunch. Even with the 30 some people eating, received prompt, attentive, friendly service from our waiter. Fresh, plentiful, hot, delicious menu choices at fair prices. Was also recommended a great local wine to match our lunch choices. Was our last day in town, but would...

My friends and I were walking past Ristorante Belvedere one afternoon and saw people enjoying the fish soup and we really wanted to try it. The menu says that it's a dish for 2 people, although it could easily be for 3 or 4 people. There were 3 of us in our party, and we did our best, but couldn't...

After a day of hiking we were hoping to find a nice dinner relatively close to our hotel in old town. Belvedere was open and quite full at 7:30pm. We began by splitting a seafood salad and a half-bottle of Cinque Terre white wine. The seafood salad consisted of a variety of warm chopped seafood including calamari and mussels served...

Our first night in Monterosso and Ristorante Belvedere was pretty much the only place open. The house special was Fish Soup for two. At 48 euros this better be good. It came to the table in a foil covered tall urn with a large deep but empty bowl and various implements of destruction. The waitress proceeded to carefully empty the...
