Just lovely ice cream. There is not much atmosphere, just buy one and savour the fresh delicious flavours; the usual lemon, strawberry, pistachio etc. and a few house specials. I had the fig and honey. Wow! Why not 5 stars? I'm being picky. The lemon ice cream was not quite the best I've had. But it was close.

If you don't like the walk to get here, the variety of flavors to choose from, the stylish inside seating or the benches along the adjacent portico, or the cone-dishes that this delicious gelato is serviced, you'll still come back as often as you can to get the most scrumptious chocolato we've ever had.

I have been living in Italy for almost 2 years and I love gelato, trying every gelato place I find in my way. This is definitely one of the best!

Oh my god is that gelato good. Get the ones with nuts: pine nuts, hazelnuts.

well, you read a lot in Tripadvisor and some times it's hard to believe that it's true. So we walked all the way from the center to the Sorbetteria, as it had this outstanding qualification. I'm not really into ice cream, but the what has been served at the Sorbetteria was really extraordinary. I took us a while to select... More

Best gelati we had in Italy. Fave flavours were... All of them! Michelangelo and the Ricotta and Fig, Dark Chocolate, Pistachio. Everything we tried was amazing. We went back twice in as many days.

Fantastic ice cream, including some favours made from mascarpone - so hard to choose what to sample as all sounded great. Do make the detour into this local neighbourhood area and enjoy.

A place that serves amazing ice cream, with some signature flavours that are super-rich but worth the calories. Popular with locals and tourists. We went twice in two days and we have not regretted it. You can see where the ice cream is made in the kitchen behind.

The sorbetteria was recommended to me by a local who said that it was his favorite place for gelato. Though it was a good 10-15 walk from Piazza Maggiore, it wasn't difficult to find and I'm so glad I went there. The Dolce Emma (ricotta and caramelized figs with honey) was simply delicious! The people behind the counter didn't speak... More
