Donn'Amalia is run all by Napolitans and hence pizzas are their excellence. Also fish and seafood is generally good. Pizzas are a crossover between the traditional soft and thick Napoli pizza with the thinner version that is made in Pesaro. The choice of beers is disappointing but when it comes to wine you'll find the widest variety. The ambient is... More

I just read somebody writing 'do not go there' - just experience it yourself. My italian friend ( a chef cook ) and I (Ducht/Belgium) have been been about a dozen times the last 4 years. He goed for the Napolitan style pizzas and I go for the primi (pasta). NO disappointment whatsoever. The restaurant tends to be a bit... More

A bit hidden place but great place for a nice evening. We eat Pizza, a special request one, and a menu one. Both perfectly prepared as requested and very good. We finished with a dessert (pineapple and a "sorrento's lemon cake"), and 2 wonderful Neapol's "home made" limoncello. From a very long time we did not had a so wonderful... More

Here you will get real authentic Naples style thick crust pizza made by Ciro the pizza man. Great pizza, always fresh and top quality ingredients. Also the seafood pasta dishes are excellent.

Hi folk! I was there again in November with wife and couple of her russian girl friends. As usual we were warmly welcomed by the staff and by the waitress, smart and kind. The place offers quite good pizzas, generous in portions delicious in taste and fresh in ingredients; you may try their local pizza and ask it do be... More

My wife and I didn't eat the pizza here but there main courses are very good. There pasta dishes are very rich and full of flavour. The service was excellent and fast. We didn't wait at all during the meal. The waiter was very good with recommending different foods on the menu. Definitely a great place to eat.

I eat there quite often: in that area, it's my first choice as far as pizza in concerned. After eating a good pizza in Naples, it's not easy to appreciate pizzas made elsewhere. Though, at Donna Amalia you can enjoy a pizza made with great ingredients and well baked. Also, first courses are very nice. The restaurant is very large:... More
