We got lucky and got a table right at opening time without a reservation (reservations are strongly recommended). The place not large, but the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. We shared a half-bottle of wine and two pasta dishes. Both the rigatoni all'amatriciana and the spaghetti with fava beans and pecorino were indescribably good! We also shared the rosemary chicken,... This was recommended by our Roman landlady, and it did not disappoint. Excellent food, moderate prices. Big salads, great carbonara.

After the reviews here on TA, I was confident I would have a good dinner here. I was not dissapointed. We arrived at 07.300pm and the place was almost empty. However, the owner said only one table was still available so we where glad to get that. And indeed, every guest that turned up after us (and there where many!)... More

We were greeted by a very friendly male waiter who happily spoke English for us and explained the dishes on the menu. I had Veal escalope with sage and roast potatoes which was first class. My husband and children also enjoyed their meals. It is quite difficult to find but well worth it. It was slightly more expensive than other... More

Charming place and lovely food. Staff are very friendly and not pushy. When we asked for a wine recommendation the owner asked us what our budget was instead of trying to sell us the most expensive one. Make sure you book.

We found this little gem by chance - it is not exactly easy to find - with the exception of the flashing lights over their sign. The flashing down the nearby side street caught our attention and we decided to try it out. We got the last available table of the evening - we watched a number of people get... More

During our one week vacation in Rome everyone in our family of four agreed this was our favorite place to eat. From the pasta to pizza to dessert... It was all amazingly delicious. We just wish we had stumbled upon it earlier in our trip!

I ordered the Rigatoni Amatriciana and it is amazing! The sauce is to die for-tangy with pieces of bacon and a zing of sharpness from the Pecorino cheese! The off the beaten track restaurant is decorated very intimately with fresh flowers on the table and the decor is extremely inviting! Even the bathrooms in the basement are fun to go... More

Very good service, homely food, good price. It is a bit difficult to find but be persistent, it will pay out at the end. I recommend it.
