Just got back from dinner one hour ago in Rome. Bit difficult to find for us, but it's on a tiny side-street. the atmosphere is perfect. Candle-lit with soft music playing. Owner there to greet you. One waitress. One bus-boy. One cook and a sous-chef (maybe two). Non-intrusive atmosphere. Food was wonderful. Wine was Madreselva (red). 24 euro and wonderful.... More

We stumbled upon this restaurant on our last night in Rome. We were able to get the last reservation and had a great time. The owner and staff treated us like family and the food was delicious.

Having read the reviews here, we made a reservation for the next day. I don't know why we had to make a reservation, because the whole time we were in the restaurant, the place was deserted. This didn't ad to the ambience. When the food came, it looked as if half the ingredients that were described on the menu, were... More

Rome has no shortage of great places to eat, and this was one of our highlights. The owner sits on a chair in front of the restaurant and personally welcomes the guests. He then makes sure you are taken care of inside, but in a non-intrusive way. I had a pasta dish with tomato and basil which was excellent, and... More

This romantic, flower decorated establishment, has a menu of traditional favorites, prepared to perfection, and impeccably served. Reasonably priced. On a little side trip off the Piazza Navona.

We ate here two out of three nights in Rome and it was excellent both times. Make sure to book ahead though. It's a cosy, candlelit atmosphere inside, very welcoming and the owner/host has very high standards for his food & staff. The mussels to start were very fresh, and the melon/parma ham was a generous portion & fresh ripe... More

This osteria is in my list of top 5 favourite places to eat in Rome. A couple of minutes walk from Piazza Navona, it is tucked away in a small lane off the main street Via dei Coronari. The osteria was full by 7.30pm on a Friday evening so booking is essential. Nice welcoming atmosphere and you could hear cheery... More

Using Tripadvisor's recommendations we booked in advance. We were not disappointed. Excellent food beautifully presented, well served, and the best of all not expensive. This was a great find. We ate here at the beginning of our trip and at the end and are happy to recommend it.

We booked this for our last night in Rome and were stunned by the quality of the food and atmosphere. Book in advance, this restaurant is full of Italians who obviously know where to go in Rome! We were looking for somewhere to eat around the outskirts of Piazza Novona as we loved the cobbled antiquated streets in this area... More
