They offer a selection ayurvedic dishes and daily meals. We chose the daily meal (13€ only), which included a fresh vegetable soup, a tasty salad and a main course. The food was very well prepared, they used well combined spices and the service was great (much better than what we experienced in most other restaurants we visited). After the meal... More

We stumbled upon Bibliothe while in Rome. As vegetarians we were ecstatic to find a place with so many food choices, none of them pasta or pizza. Every dish was beautifully presented and well seasoned. The service was impeccable and the staff friendly. There are also many options for vegans. It is worth seeking out Bibliothe for an alternative to... More

It seems that this is a place for discussion as well as food. With friendly staff who physically walked us to the nearest bus stop at 11.30pm at night when they were closing!! It is basically vegetarian or vegan Indian food. Very tasty with huge portions. Worth a visit if you want a change from pizza.

Very nice food but not authentic Indian by any means. The food was well-cooked and fresh but presented in a way that suggested that they were used to serving Indian food to Italians who had no clue about Indian food. I have travelled widely in India and have never seen colelaw served up, for example, which was one of the... More

I like carbs as much as the next vegetarian, but eventually even I got sick of pizza and pasta. This is a great Indian style vegetarian restaurant in rome. I was craving something different and this hit the spot. We had a tali plate for €25 each. Not exactly cheap, but OK for Rome and it included more than enough food.... More

Close to Piazza Venezia (and the bride cake), this small place has a limited but wonderful selection of dishes making perfect use of spices. There's a lunch menu offer but looking around I didnt find it that special, so I went for some of the regular dishes. I ordered vegetable pakora (about 7 sizeable pieces) at 7 euro as well... More

We went here recently for a break from italian food. Rome is a great city for restaurants, but I suppose because Italian food is so popular with visitors and locals alike, it can sometimes be hard to find an alternative. Bibliothe was great; the waiter was friendly and chatty, and the food was excellent. The atmosphere in the place was... More

We had no problem finding this lovely restaurant situated not far from the Pantheon. It was lovely to get out of the heat and bustle of Rome into a relaxing and calm environment. We found the staff to be charming and helpful and the food (we had hummus, pakoras, puri and rice) to be fresh and tasty. Highly recommended.
