OK- I guess I am used to traditional Roman food, but the choices here were very eclectic. The preparation was fine-the service adequate. We ordered a fine bottle of wine and the manager was very pleasant. If you prefer stuffed rabbit or quail breast to Trataglione Amatricana or Linguine with clams, I guess you would like it. I was not... More

This place is not to be missed. Our lunch here on a Sunday afternoon was one of the best meal we have ever had anywhere. The food blew our mind. It is an easy walk from the Coliseum. Make sure to book a table, they are very busy. And with good reason.

It's almost a year since my wife and I visited this restaurant and I've been meaning to write a review since then as it immediately became one of my favourite restaurants in the world. Family run, wonderfully attentive service, intimate and with wonderful food and wine, in my view it should be a "must do" part of any visit to... More

This restaurant was recommended by a friend as well as the New York Times so we had high expectations and were not disappointed. Reservations are absolutely necessary so I would recommend booking in advance. We tried to make same day reservations and were told that they were booked but they called back because they had a cancellation and we got... More

Had a brilliant four course lunch here in the company of Roman friends. Specializing in cuisine of their native Marche region, this family run restaurant is unassuming and the decor fairly basic...but the food was very good. I suspect that had a lot to do with the careful selection of items from the daily specials in consultation with one of... More

After both good reviews in our guidebook, tripadvisor and the "Timeout Rome" web page we were hoping for something really great. The atmosphere was intimate and the staff friendly but when it come down to the crux of the matter, the food really was disappointing. Maybe it was because we went late in the evening, but unfortunately for our main... More

But I wouldn't say it was non-existent, either. I did enjoy this place for being a small, neighbourhood place filled, seemingly, with locals. And the food was good, not stellar, just good. The highlight was the enormous ravioli stuffed with, among other things, a fried egg. I had the "roast beef" for my main course, but it was really a... More

Booked for the saturday prior to leaving due to the obvious popularity, arrived to a very well set out restaurant and a very average welcome, the waiter was polite but seem to be recommending one certain wine which wasnt what he had described to any English speaking visitors the starter was nice but the mains were both overcooked and their... This restaurant was recommended to us by an Italian friend, and we went their with another couple, friends of ours who have recently moved to Rome. Tried to book Friday evening (on Thursday) but it was already full. Managed to get a reservation for Saturday. Were greeted by a polite waiter, who agreed to swith our corner table to another....
