I adore Duke's! I can't put my finger on the exact reason why, but it is a perfect combination that beckons me to dine there each and every time I'm nearby. Perhaps it's because they serve Californian cuisine and so it reminds me of home. It could be that they make the best drinks in all of Rome. Rome is... More

Im happy that a friend recommended us this place. We were delight with our good-tasting food and a mouth-watering dessert. We had the South African blended wine (The Chocolate Block) which was absolutely great. We will surely come back here next time!

Very lively place, with good vibe, most tables had 6-8 friends, enjoying sushi and original salads. Good wine list, cocktails all served by super friendly staff. Informal, not typical Italian. Love it, vbut maybe not for anyone.

This used to be one of various “the place” to be seen in in town. Forget about it. Low niveau for insufficient services and catering. Some good ideas at the bar, otherwise – unless forced – skip it.

So Duke's was very near to our hotel which was in the Parioli district of Rome, which is a bit out of the way of the center. After a couple of days we got tired of trekking to the city every night for dinner and so decided to "go local" for an evening. We did not regret it one bit.... More

California oriented place with unconventional delicious dishes. Not the typical taste of Rome, but high quality ingredients for a smart food experience. Very kindful waitresses willing to explain the better drink&food combination. It could be easy spending (several) additional money if you go for a dessert, coffee, and so on (nothing really new, it happens everywhere..). Recommended as well for... More

Along the years Duke's has not changed or worsen. It is always pleasant, trendy & causy. The staff is efficient and nice. The service is not too slow when full and this happens often. In spring or hot months make sure you get a table outdoors. The food: good West Coast sushi, Tuna steaks, chicken and (Roman) Burgers, along with... More

I do my best to visit Dukes as many times as I can in a year. Their service is amazing, its one of the only places in Rome that the waiters and waitresses really care about their customers. The food and menu changes once in 2 months so if you come once in a period you can taste different delights.... More

DH made us come here as he had a special memory. I would not recommend as it is very show-ey without real substance behind it. Drinks ok and maybe the only acceptable time to go.
