So glad I researched vegan gelato prior to heading to Rome. We found several locations throughout Rome and indulged each time. Yummy!

We were in Rome for 4 days and had 2 gelato's each day. The best we had was at Blue Ice in the square of Santa Maria in Trastevere. Especially Straciatella. The price is OK as well.

We ate blue ice icecreams at several locations in the city. The quality is uniform, and they have a great selection of flavors. It is especially yummy ice cream with berries.

But these guys have the best Peach I found anywhere. There is one in between the Piazza Navona and the Pantheon at the Piazza di S. Eustachio.

My husband enjoyed the limoncello gelato which was very bold and tangy. I enjoyed the Melon gelato which was also bold and reminded me of summer.

Seriously, i had one of the best gelato in Blue ice near Piazza Navona on the way to the trevi fountain. Mango and Melon are my favourite sorts!
