we bought our first ice-cream at Origini. it had so much flavour and was really creamy. the ice-cream is expensive, 3 euro for 1 scoop but it was so worth it! overall this was the best icecream bar we went to (out of 5) a big plus is that the icecream is 100% natural. go here!

I love ice cream, and this stuff is up there with the best. Well worth a detour from the forum, rather than get a poorer one nearby!

Came across this by accident, and concur with other recent reviews suggesting this place is really on form. Interesting, intense flavours: no queue.

After trying many gelateria in Rome, we stumbled into this one while on the way to the Pantheon. Easily the best in Rome! Made with fresh ingredients, simply superb flavours from all 5 we tried. The staff was friendly too. You know a place is good when you actually feel sad that you have to leave it. That's how we... More

We walked into this store after dinner in response to a recommendation from our American tour guide. Immediately we were presented with samples of several very unique flavors; all of which were excellent. All four of us were very happy with what we ended up choosing. The medium includes up to three selections, the small up to two.

We came upon Origini Gelateria accidently on our way back to our B&B near the Pantheon, and we loved it. We came back another day for seconds. The young lady was eager to give us samples, and we especially liked the Marscapone with Fig, and the Black Cherry. Why wait in line at the big name stores when this is... More

Great flavors we didn't see at the average gelateria. Black Cherry and Baba Rum - yumm!

In Rome you can buy ice-cream (gelato) at every corner. The most of them deliver very good ice-cream, but some places really stand out. Origini Gelateria is situated near the Pantheon and its speciality are sorbets of fruits of the season. The blood-orange sorbet is a winner, but the other choices are also worth a try. Very friendly service with... More

I've had the good fortune to travel to Italy several times and I love gelato! I accidentally came across Origini Gelateria when walking from the Trevi Fountain to Piazza Navonna. The shop is not far from the Trevi Fountain. The shop appears to be in a residential area. I had the blood orange gelato and my mother had the panna... More

We stopped here for an ice cream after visiting the Trevi Fountain. It was absolutely delicious! We had Biscotti and Chocolate and the server allowed us to taste a few before making our selection. Prices were reasonable, €4 for a medium sized cup which held a big scoop of each. Definitely worth checking out if you are in the area.
