We went to this place on a guided evening in Rome. The atmosphere was so good that we went back the next day. Good traditional foods from northern parts of Italy with good wines on the menu. Good food, great atmosphere and nice staff made this a highly enjoyable visit.

Chanced upon this small restaurant in Piazza Mattei. Their Prosciutto San Daniele is the main theme and can be had with a variety of dishes. My family stumbled upon this restaurant while walking through the Jewish Ghetto on our second day in Italy. It is situated in the Piazza Mattei which is where you will find the precious Turtle Fountain as well. The restaurant is cozy and quiet which was just what we longed for after a long day of sight-seeing.

Pane Vino e San Daniele is situated on one of my favorite places in Rome - Piazza Mattei and we were glad to have a dinner there.
This restaurant specialized on San Daniele prosciutto. We ordered salad, prosciutto with figs, pineapples and melon. We also ordered a bottle of Pinot Grigio, which was the nice. The service staff was good...
