We went to this restaurant with a large group and we had limited choices in our menu for the dinner. The service was very good and the meal was very nice but not memorable. All of the pastas and main plates (mine was lamb) were prepared well and served nicely but not anything special. House red wine was good to... More

Our second dinner in Rome and we decided to do a spot of research for our dining choice on this night than walk in to somewhere that 'appeared' to be an authentic trattoria off the tourist track and then be heartily disappointed as we had been the night before. Using Tripadvisor for restaurants is often not as reliable as using... More

Good restaurant ! We had an apartment very close and it was easy to go. The menu is big enought wis all traditional courses. All the dish tested was good and the services was fast and friendly. Regarding the price it is pretty expensive, for a starter and a pasta plate we hade to pay around 30€... Plus wine it... More

Sit outside (covered if its raining) and the atmosphere is great. Food delicious, and best to take the recommendations of the very helpful and fun staff. Not touristy, and all the better for it. Definitely one to recommend.

Although we visited this restaurant on a Monday evening, it was almost full ! As we had no reservation made, we had one of the last free tables backwards. Service quick and polite, delicious food in reasonable prices. Antipasti, pasta dishes & ossobuco really tasty, cachiatore lamb kind of greasy...., wine of the house ok. We will definitely be back on... More

We had a great experience at Osteria Romana. It´s ran by a tipycal nice roman family and the service is great. Altough it´s a bit fancy, they made sure we felt like having dinner at home, in Rome! After dinner, ask one of the nice waiters to go downstairs, where there are some historical items of the house and the... More

Tucked away on a side street near the Piazza Barberini, this is a plain, family-run restaurant that makes up for the plain interior with excellent food. The saltimbocca was fabulous, as was the veal stew. Pastas are wonderful, and served perfectly. The house wine was above average. We recommend making reservations to sit upstairs in the enclosed porch. Downstairs is... More

The street itself is very charming and is in a great location close to the Campo di Fiori. However, the service was slow and a bit pushy, the food was expensive and of less good quality than we had had elsewhere in Rome and indeed Italy. We did enjoy seeing the Roman artifacts in the basement but we did think... More

We found this restaurant by chance, while strolling around in Trastevere. We were so lucky! The meal was wonderful and the place is very nice. Their pizza was definitely our best experience in Rome.
