Although this restaurant is on quite a main road, to us as tourists it seemed like a great find as we were wandering around our somewhat dodgy neighbourhood, very hungry, looking for something other than takeaway pizza, when we stumbled across Bentu & Soi. We were made to feel very welcome, and had the pleasure of trying an array of... More

Small place in - worth finding your way to for taste sensation and excellent value. Share a seafood selection starter with plates of freshest produce including some sashimi style, clams, mussels, delicate pieces of lightly battered fish, and whatever else available on the day. Then go on to meat dishes beautifully flavored and herbed, perfectly cooked. Roasted vegetable side dish... More

What a great little restaurant! we were staying nearby in the Hotel Emona Aquaeductus (also highly recommend) and the concierge gave us a couple of recommendations for local restaurants - needless to say, we walked out the door and got hopelessly lost and literally stumbled on to the best find in Roma - Bentu & Soi! They spoke a little... More

I was in staying at the Eurostars Aeterna on business and this charming hostaria is around the corner. I found the staff friendly and helpful and they advised me on the Sardinian specialties they serve. I had a lovely starter followed by a hearty pasta accompanied by a local house wine, and a delicious Sardinian dessert plus a complementary home... More

I went there for lunch. The waiter was very friendly and so was his "second mother". Outside you sit simple but nice on the street. Inside he colorsceme is particular. It's the waiters choce and he said the clients like it. But I didnot. I took a complete menu for 10 Euro!!! What can you expect? The gnocci were a... More

We had outstanding service and food from a young, English-speaking chef whom we took to be the owner. Luca is like an Italian Jamie Oliver. Very passionate about the food, the hospitality, the whole experience of sharing his regional cuisine. We definitely recommend ordering the seafood tasting menu. We had ten different dishes brought to us, amazing variety, really interesting... More

We have been there with my wife today only because we read 4 review decribing how nice this place is. First of all service is okay. The owner (an old lady) is friendly but does not speak french, english, german or russian. So you have to deal with italian menu. After ordering we had to wait 90 mintutes to get... More

I tend to reserve judgement on a restaurant to make sure I have given it consistency. I have been to Hostaria Bentu&Soi 7 times and I feel the consistency of service and food lets me be able to write this review. The owner is a very nice woman who cares more about offering delicious food and a welcoming service rather... More

On receiving a business card for Bentu and Soi from the reception clerk at a local hotel, we headed to the restaurant a bit worried about what kind of establishment we may be walking into. Instead we found a wonderful little place with great staff who were also able to speak English for us. Being Australian this was very helpful.... More
