again Marco G gives the best dinner experiance in the city of Roma. 2 years and 6 dinners later still the best service and quality in the city for a reasonable price. Service is so attentive and the suroundings are outstanding.

We booked this based on tripadvisor and were glad we did. wonderful little restaurant in the Trastevere. The best part had to be the service, with the owner serving and mixing and checking in with you... you can't go wrong. Prices were reasonable, food was fresh and delicious, wine was wonderful (as it usually is when in paradise) and service...

My husband and I went to Marco G last night and had a really wonderful experience. We called just an hour before we wanted to dine and were told quite honestly that there may be a bit of a wait since there were other very large parties dining. When we arrived (we showed up 20 minutes early even after being...

We had a lovelly meal here, the servce and food was excellent. Couldnt believe the bill it was so cheap too!!
My wife and I had the pasta special and then shared a plate of grilled potabello mushrooms in oil, garlic and herbs. While we waited, Marco, the owner and do-everything at the place, was very nice to bring us some smoked buffalo mozzerella and buffalo ricotta as as appetizer. He also visited with us, until it became too busy to...

We read all the great reviews for Marco G's and decided to stop there for dinner. I ordered the pumpkin sage ravioli (~12 euros) and my husband ordered the Roman fixed menu (~25 euros). His menu came with bruschetta, pasta, chicken stew with peppers, and a fruit salad for dessert. We were not led astray by the TripAdvisor reviews--the meals...

Marco G had the best food and service during our stay in Rome and exceeded all of our expectations. The restaurant is a short walk from the Campo de' Fiori area, and is in the Trastevere neighbourhood. We met the owner and he is extremely nice. He does everything from looking over the kitchen, to serving, to making drinks, etc......

Everywhere in Trastevere the pasta dishes were spectacular but what made Marco G stand out (we went twice in 8 days) was the fresh grilled fish.
My husband and I absolutely loved the food at this restaurant, which was recommended by an english couple staying in our hotel. My husband had the mussels and beet salad; I had ravioli. All was fantastic, but being a lover of sweets, the desserts were to die for! The atmosphere was casual, the service very friendly and unpretentious. The prices...

My husband and I recently ate here and had a thoroughly positive experience from begining to end. Frankly, I feel this place should have a higher rating than it has on Tripadvisor.
The service was friendly and efficient, the food was delicious - modern italian - the chicken with peppers was so tasty, the wine was the best we had...
