Been there twice. The food is marvellous. The pizza is made in front of you. The staff are very helpful and all speak English. This restaurant was across our Hotel Gambrinus.
We went to this restaurant on our first night in Italy and I think we had the best pizza of our entire three weeks in Italy. My children love pizza - so they are hard to please and they support my husband's and my view. The atmosphere was great. Everyone was welcoming, though it was very busy and we had... More
A must go place. Great food, great wine and great atmosphere. We enjoyed very much. The pasta and piazza ware perfect
We visited Rome October 9 to 16, 2013 and ate at Al Forno Della Soffitta Pizzeria twice. Both times we enjoyed the pizza. My wife, a vegetarian, had a pizza with seared squash blossoms (delicious) and I had the pizza Margarita. Both were very good. The restaurant has a brick pizza oven near the entry. There are two chefs twirling... More
We stayed at the hotel across the road at the start of our 2 week Italian & Greek travel experience and this restaurant will in particular always be remembered as the greatest Italian restaurant of those that we visited during our holiday. It is just as I imagined a typical up market pizza restaurant to be. Their huge wood fired... More
“THE BEST PIZZA IN ROME” – Not just my opinion, but when I first went to Rome in 2012, I was recommended this pizzeria time and time again. I returned on the 12th October 2013, and it has somehow improved. I made a booking for 5 people on a Wednesday for the following Saturday. I booked for 8pm, but was... More
This cute little restaurant happened to be right across the road from our hotel. We dined here on my first night ever in Rome so I wanted it to be a memorable experience. And it sure was! We had no idea what to order as we couldn't decide so we got the waitresses recommendations. Trying a bit of everything is... More
When the place we intended to dine at turned up being closed, we asked a few locals sitting put on the street for their recommendation. And this turned put to be a great referral. We had some fresh cut Italian ham to start with, and then continued with two pizzas. I would not call them the best we had, but... More
This is a restaurant we very frequently visit in the neighbourhood. I suggest it for its pizza, which is true Neapolitan one. Other than that, the buffet is rich and reasonable. Pleasant staff.
During our visit in to Rome in August we were lucky enough to stumble upon this fantastic restaurant. It has everything, great service, great food and very reasonable prices. The pizza is cooked in a traditional wood burner and is delicious. We tried a few other eateries but the fact we ate here 3 times and each time it was... More
