We went to this restaurant for dinner one evening having passed it during the day. However we had already had a late lunch so just ordered some appetizers to begin with. Then we skipped straight to the cheese board. It was amazing, six small portions of six incredible Italian cheeses, most of which we had never tried before, served with... More

Ask about the specials but don't miss the steak with honey and black pepper! Our last meal in Rome this spring was at Santa Cristina and it was magical. The side dish, artichokes, was amazing and the desserts made by momma are delightful. We had a coconut confection that was out of this world. The meal, service and atmosphere almost... More

I decided to eat here because it was near my hotel and at the time had a good tripadvisor rating in the 50s. I ordered the seafood risotto as the first course. It was so hot it would burn your tongue. It appeared to have been microwaved. The calamari in the risotto was rubbery and very tough. Next I had... More

Unsure of all the stupendous reviews, everything was purely average, not bad, nothing a standout. Seafood risotto was good, but nothing else was particularly memorable. All other patrons were tourists. Unfortunately it seems as if this place has been plugged in trip advisor and in travel logs, rather than relying on its own laurels. Or maybe they are tired of... After a morning exploring the forums I found thin restaurant through on line searching. It is a gem. Fairly close to all the attractions yet tucked away on a quiet side street. Other diners were Italian. The artichoke appetizer was fantastic--half braised and half sautéed. The eecially rigatoni with zucchini and pepper flakes was distinctive and delicious. Service was knowledgable... More

Can't say a bad thing about this place. We traveled as part of a group and everyone that ate here was impressed. The staff are very welcoming and friendly and also accommodate small kids and is very family friendly. The decor is warm and inviting and the food is amazing. We had fish on both occasions and it was of... More

We went here following good reviews but it was actually a great failure. As for the average roman restaurants ir was pretty expensive but for a higher pricey place like this the service lacked a lot of style. Not worth the spend.

We eat here every time we visit the city (2-3 times a year) and it never disappoints! We have had many guests join us at the restaurant and they are always equally impressed. The restaurant is family run - momma is in the kitchen and the children (grown) serve the food. The beef, my personal favourite, is the best. On... More

Went here on valentines day, very romantic. Absolutely fantastic food. We went for the full monty and had a starter, main course, desert, bottle of wine and desert wine, which when the bill came was reasonable for quality. Try the house wine, Sotto Sotto Chardonnay it is lovely. And as for the tiramisu.... Italy in a dish! Top restaurant.

Great service and food. The menu is a little on the limited size however everything is cooked to order. I had a steak and it really was fantastic.
