This restaurant was recommended by the reception at the hotel we stayed in. It is just a short walk from the hotel. Food is decent and the price a little bit on the high side. However they are very generous with the bread. Quite delicious when you mix it with a little olive oil and vinegar. The pasta and pizza... More

The place was very busy and the majority of people were locals......always a good sign. We had pizza which was great and the service was very friendly. Well recommend the place for a quick and easy meal at a reasonable price.

I've lived in Rome my whole life and I can barely remember a time I ate as bad as I did 2 weeks ago at this restaurant. They have two different price lists for tourists and local people: tourists pay THREE TIMES more for the exact same dishes. These people should be ashamed of the image they give to foreign... More

Don't dare it, save your money - dirty plates, cups, table covers. Bad meal.

Had a lovely meal in this restautrant and the waiter was brilliant. At the end of the night he was thanking us and shaking our hands! The downside to the meal was that the lobster was slightly overcooked although saying that when my girlfriend ordered lobster pasta she did not expect to get lobster claws and tail that needed to... We have eaten in the Pretoriana on a number of occasions over the years. It is always very busy. We are usually there in summer and sit outside. This time with the temperatures below zero we were happy to be indoors. When we sat outside during summer visits we always had the impression that it was busy with tourists. Sitting... More

We visited this restaurant after reading the reviews and where not disappointed. the food was YUMMMMY. We had the Veal in Tomatoe Sauce and the Regatonie with Bacon and Tomatoe sauce. The service was very attentive and the waiters spoke English. It was lovely with proper table clothes. With a glass of white wine and one Beer we paid The... More

Drawn to this restaurant as it was close to our hotel and of the many in the area it was the only busy one. Found it to full with lots of locals. Service was a bit stretched the second time we visited but that was because at 8pm on a very cold Sunday evening there was hardly a table free.
