The warmest service- we showed up at 9 and the place was filled but they quickly made room for us. The food was great. We had the rabbit and oxtail- and it was so nice and tender. The best restaurant we visited on our stay.

I put this restaurant on my list because of the reviews it received. I was so happy I decided to go. It is a little tricky to find, but once your in Trestevere its not too difficult to find if you ask for directions, or use the GPS on your phone which I ended up doing. We were greeted with...

It was our last night in the Eternal City and we wanted someplace small and simple
We rented an apt on Leopardo across the street and decided to walk into one of the most memorable restaurants in Rome
We were greeted by a lovely waitress and treated to a prosecco !
We ordered a prosciutto and melone that was large...

When I first "saved" this restaurant it was ranked in the top 10 but it dropped in ranking for a short time due to their chef leaving. Upon reading that Chef Julia was back and reading some recent reviews we made a reservation and are glad we did. My husband had the seafood salad which was his favorite dish on...

My wife and I ate twice here during our recent stay in Rome. Excellent food with service to match. On the second occasion we ate here, the place was packed (we forget to make reservations). An Italian family was having a large celebration at the restaurant. But this was no problem for the staff. They remembered us and simply set...

The food we had here lacked taste. The funghi literally tasted like water, the chicken like nothing. Nice service though. But a long wait before we could even order. Opportunity to have great food in Rome wasted.
Seated at 9:25, appetizers came at 10:40. Yeah, 1 hour and 15 minutes for cold seafood salad and fried zucchini flowers. Same deal for all 3 other tables around us... became a joke! But, the special was Lasagna w/ meatballs, and it was the best I have ever had in my life.
First with the positives:
The sweet woman who served us was amazing and we will go back just to see her again. Served and bussed the entire restaurant by herself (we assumed she was the owner).
The house wine was pretty good and a large pour when ordered by the glass (comes in a small single carafe). Both the red...

In the pouring rain, we stumbled upon this restaurant. Julia was welcoming, and started us off with a glass of proseco. The special antipasti that night was a caprese salad with fresh buffula mozzarella and ricotta and fresh tomatoes. It was delicious! Had the lasagne with ragu and truffles, and the tagliatini with sea bass and asparagus. Julia also gave...

We had trouble finding this but it was worth the search. Good service. Easygoing atmosphere. We ate what was recommended for the day. Primi was asparagus lasagne, very good. Secondi was seabass, also very good. Many tourists had found their way here this evening.
