We ate here the day we arrived in Rome and our room was not ready yet. The hotel recommended it to us since it was pretty close by. We walked right by it the first time looking for it because the bushes and trees in the front partially obscured their sign. We sat right down and the service was pretty... More

We enjoyed a nice lunch outside on the sidewalk. Service was a little slow, but things move slower in Italy.

Was reccomended by our hotel to have dinner here our last night in Rome. While the setting is beautiful, the service was very unfriendly and rude, and the food was the worst we had during 2 weeks in Italy. Upon arrival we we were seated outside which we liked as it is beautiful. We quickly realized that we had made... More

The Tritone had amazing food, fast waiters and a great location near the Piazza Barberini

The food is really good although some of the portions were rather small. We had lunch here and also a dinner on separate days. Lunch was most enjoyable, staff were efficient but miserable and lacked that passion we tend to associate with Italians. Dinner was very unpleasant, food was good but very rushed and aggressive. We literally finished our antipasti... More

Aweful food. Specially the ravioli di zucco. Very small plate, the tomato sauce tasted like ragu, not whatI expected in Italy. Nice ambiance, very slow service!

We stopped here first late at night for a glass of wine, and were treated royally by the owner. Next night's dinner -- sans owner -- wasn't quite as special. Food was good, but waiters were pushy and didn't really seem to listen. The decor, especially in the front room, is quite charming...but I had hoped for more...

The pasta dishes and main courses are fantastic. The staff is super friendly, and the place is very cozy and romantic. Get the carbonara!

Wonderful little restaurant with great service, great food and reasonable prices. We went for dinner twice while in Rome. Ask for a table in the front room, the back room is very ordinary.

The restaurant is very charming and the food was delicious. However, our waiter brought an artichoke to our table, which we didn't order. This has happened in other restaurants and it is usually brought as a compliment from the chef. We were very surprised to find that we were charged for it when the bill arrived. When we pointed it...
