I was looking for nice outdoor seating in the sun with a view on the Coliseum and found it here. The seafood risotto was marvellous and both the red and white house wine were nice and not too expensive. The waiters were friendly and the bill was a nice price. Sitting next to a very busy street does spoil the... More

This is the only place with soft chairs near Colosseo that we found. Food is not bad or good, it's just in the middle. We wanted to eat very much and tried to find some cafe or restaurant with good-looking walls and workers. That was that place.

At least the food prices are on the menu here! But not the cuperto fee when consuming alcoholic beverages!!! Food quality is okay, it's edible nothing special! Wine is of the cheapest quality available out there!! Service is mediocre! Overall, this place is a lite tourist trap version!

You can eat as you overlook the Colosseum. The service was friendly and efficient. The food we had was good. The music and atmosphere was relaxing.

In five days in Rome this was by far the worst food we had. How can you get a poor pizza in Italy? High cover charge and drinks prices, perhaps inevitably in view of the location. Service average at best. Those who highly rate this one should get out more.

We were only in Rome for 3 days, but needed to eat by the Colosseum, so we went to this restaurant. A nice lady, and young man, encouraged us to look at the menu. We ordered from the lunchtime specials, and were very pleased with the quality and choice available, at a very reasonable price. My husband had Lasagne, a... More

with my family in Rome for the first time we stayed in this place on the square of the coliseum, with spectacular views! clean and courteous service and 20 euros for three people, where we have used 3 / 1 pasta with meat sauce, mixed salad, 1 bottle wine, red water, 1 liter sparkling, coffee decafeinato! and covered including great... We had a great time at the Hostaria al Gladiatore for New Years Eve. The staff was so outgoing and friendly that we all soon felt like family. The food was delicious and was the most authentic of all that we tried in Rome.
