Really love this place, excellent food, complex cuisine and cozy atmosphere. It is really a must to have lunch or dinner whenever you are in Madrid. it is really well located close to "Puerta de Alcalá", if you are thinking on dinner, nighlife is all around. Don't forget to try creamed eggs and capari sorbet

My husband and I went to Dassa Bassa to enjoy the Gastrofestival menu, which is a 40 euro per person menu, three course meal, that includes one glass of wine. It was our first time at this restaurant and overall we thought the food was good and the service was very good. We were a little late for our reservation... More

This restaurant is small and I didn't particularly enjoy the downstairs seating area. It was dungeon-like, dark and seemed old. The walls are white painted brick, but it still was dark as the ceilings are low and the entrances are rounded. A couple of the plates were obviously chipped. It seems to be on the down swing. The food was... More

We were here for dinner last week - on the last night they were open before going on August holiday. I thought the food was good. The place was all done up in white and it was a cave below the ground so it was a very intimate and calming sort of environment. They gave us an amuse bouche before... More

Ate here on a trip to Madrid, loved the food but thought it would be slightly more experimental due to the chef being a trainee of Ferran Adria. But food was good, service impeccable and decor very well done.

I have seen and eaten a lot over the past years but this was the worst. Service: absolutely poor; no behaviour, food was dropped and picked up with the hand Food: Menue was terrible, no style no feeling for flavours Value: absolutely poor Atmosphaere: The website looked quite interesting, reality however is a cellar

Save your money and go to McDonald's. The best thing about dining here was the laughter. Food was terrible, served in ridiculous ways like if that is supposed to fascinate customers. Can't believe I was convinced to eat there.

I went with my mom and sister to this restaurant on New Years Eve, and in every respect it was terrific. The Prix Fixe menu was €118, and included unlimited wine, several cocktails tailored to the food, and 8 courses, all delicious and with great vareity. The desert came just in time for us to sprint to Puerta del Sol... More

I would like to take this opportunity to reflect on the dinner we had at Dassa Bassa. To be honest, it was a disappointment. I would like to let you know why. When we came in the gentleman who brought us to our table walked us downstairs, pointed out the table to us and left. We were just stranding there... More

Overpriced for nothing really special (in the city of delicious and cheap eats). Although the design was good, it was placed in a beasement. The clientee was not great - there were customers that even wear shorts (in October).
