WOW!! Amazing food and artistic creations. The service was impeccable. Miguel made our dining experience very relaxed and provided us with details on each course. Each course was a perfect. We had a nice room to dine in with a classic modern feel. It was like dining in someone's home. He even took us into the kitchen. Everyone was friendly... More

I've been to several 3 Michelin star restaurant. This ** one is located on Plazza Espana in the center of Madrid is one of the best out there in termes of food quality and presentation, setting. The quality/price ratio can't be beat. The lowest menu was 86 euros at the time I had dinner there. For the price, you get... More

Really worth it. The food was amazing, I don't want to spoil the surprise, so I won't go into details. The presentation as well as the taste were perfect. The excellent service complemented a great evening at a wonderful restaurant. We will definitely go back!

Had two o'clock Monday lunch reservation -- which are essential. Left nearly four hours later after the dining experience of our lives! Have we had food just as good? Yes. Have we had innovative dishes around the world? Yes. But never have we had six superb courses, presented so beautifully. Service was impeccable. And, yes, it was expensive but certainly... More

Innovative, creative, inventive, playful, surprising. Excellent quality of food. Great staff. I'm a foodie and a tough restaurant critic, and this was one of the best meals I've ever eaten -- and, by far, the most inventive. A great value!! The marinade mackerel with cabbage and the caviar leaf were intensive flavor explosions. The salmon and halibut were delicious! The... More

... so if glitzy, gimmicky presentation doesn't do anything for you, don't eat here! I loved it. This isn't a meal, it's food as theatre. So imaginative, every tiny dish leaves you a) wondering how they did it and b) wishing there was just a tiny bit more. La pezera, a little fishbowl of a dessert, was so good I... More

So many beautiful tiny little plates (I think 17) - all impatiently delivered by a waitress in a hurry. Even to the point of hovering. Rush rush - not a pleasant dining experience. You can even eat the Allard business card. All a little bit too "clever" - but certainly expensively interesting and artistic.

I must say I have mixed feelings about El Club Allard. My wife enjoyed it thoroughly, and I did mostly, but presentation is much more memorable than actual cuisine here, and the pretense is sometimes simply a bit much. The first course was mackerel marinated in tiger milk, more impressive in labeling than in taste (can anyone actually discern the... More

We had the tasting menu Seduction, three appetizers, three entrees, two main courses, two desserts, coffee & petit fours. This, plus wine pairings at five glasses of wine and brandy landed only at 292 euros. We were served extremely innovative, imaginative and at the same time delicate dishes. The most imaginative creations we've ever eaten in a restaurant. It was... More

I love this kind of places, it doesn't even look like a restaurant but some kind of an old and chic building with a huge first floor flat transformed into a restaurant. Very simple decoration, all white and grey, with nice music in the background. On the food front, it is a typical modern fusion place - you just choose... More
