A bit of a different kind of tapas than the usual tapas with som traditionally ones as well. A lot of fish and seafood, foies gras. All done in a 300 ft2 charming bar with wines all around you. This is what I expect from a tapas bar and only EUR 55 for 3 pers.

Small but vibrant, and nice feel of being a local place. The salmon was really really good, but the other tapas were not really in my taste (my italian friend loved it), so could also be just my taste. Found the dishes too strong in taste, or too oily (for the meat platter), most of the tapas we orderer were... More

This place is tiny, but it possibly provided one of the best experience I had in Barcelona. The tapas in this place was lovely and the atmosphere was brilliant. They had their own beer on tap and there was lots of wine available all above along the walls. The whole experience was great, felt like a lot of culture was... More

The tapas that we chose were delicious. The wine was average as we did not want to buy a whole bottle of better white wine; good beer is on tap as well. The staff could have been a little more informative as to the tapas however it was busy and cramped so I understand that they had to keep busy... More

This tavern like restaurant has been around for generations of Quimets. The food is quite good although I wish they had a selection of warm or hot tapas. There are not seats and you will probably share the tiny space you are given with other customers. The restaurant doubles as a gourmet shop with an amazing wine/liquor selection. They also... More

Sure, the place looks great and has a wonderful atmosphere... Once thirty people are in you feel like in a tin of sardines, maybe I should say Boquerones... Decent brew from the tap, great selection of drinks, it seems. A shame there isn't a single tapa or pintxo dish to be had that is warm or hot.

Went there on a friday. The place was opend but not "opend". A guy told us it was closed, but there was people inside eating(????!!!!!). He told us to come back later on the evening, witch was highly unlikely, since me and my boyfriend had travled (by foot) all the way from our hotel (40 min away) just to go... More

Was told to go here by another couple but was slightly put off by the fact its mainly food from cans. DON'T BE! Terrific combination of flavours, tastes fresh along with a great atmosphere. Plenty of locals fill this small standing up tapas bar, push your way through the crowd and enjoy a great Catalan meal.

Make sure you make a stop at Q&Q for some gourmet tapas. It is worth it not only because the tapas are very good, but also because the ambience is worth appreciating: the busy waitresses at the bar serve many different groups simultaneously, ask you to talk louder when you order and shout the name of the tapa when it's... Cosy restaurant with exceptional food. Just down the road from the hostel, certainly one of the nicest places I ate whilst on holiday. We ordered the fish and cheese selection followed by the cured beef, salmon and one or two other things. Everything was exceptional! They have a wide selection of tapas and they excel in their seafood. Really nice... More
