On Sunday 5/5/13 I dined at Can Majo and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I was unable to get a table outside, and was initially told that it would be difficult to find a seat inside; however, the host sat me inside within two minutes of my asking. It is a typically narrow small space but elegantly appointed. My waiter was... More

My wife and I enjoyed a nice dinner at Can Majo.. A quick tip.. Be careful when making reservations using the Facebook link - Reserve with ElTenedor.es . We used this service and got a reservation. However, when we arrived at the restaurant, we were told that they did not have a reservation for us. ElTenador gave us confirmation #,... More

Six of us ate lobster paella in late January. We were the only patrons in the main room, so we had wonderful attention and service from the wait staff. The paella was served in two large paella dishes. It was laden with a variety of seafood, all fresh and delicious. My late wife and I had eaten here - outside... More

very good fish restaurant, and they also serve very tasty meat dishes. Had a lovely zarzuela, and a perfect foie gras. Friendly and professional staf. Pretty white table cloths. I just read this restaurant belongs to the top 3 of Barcelona. We did not know that before we came, but we understand why. Very good, and not too expensive. On... More

We were looking for a good restaurant with great traditional paella and seafood! Great service and atmosphere and great selection of wines. The food was fantastic and would go there again!

This came on the recommendation of my father, and I was not disappointed. A bit pricey, but when I am on vacation, I am not price sensitive. Great wine selection, and jamon plate was delicious(as is usually the case everywhere in Spain). We had the seafood paella, and we added lobster. Simply divine. Dessert was decadent. White chocolate mousse/tart concoction.... More

Paella is considered a classic Spanish dish but for Spaniards it is considered Valencian, a regional specialty. Paella may not have originated in Barcelona but the word is thought to actually be Catalan. Traditional paella valenciana has meat as the protein whereas paella de marisco replaces land animals with seafood and this is what Barcelona is known for. It is... More

Very rude and dismissive staff (if you speak English). I did not appreciate or understand the negativity surrounding our visit to this restaurant. Although we do not speak Spanish very well, we understand enough to know when they were making fun of us. We obviously have the means to eat at this restaurant, we wouldn't have come otherwise, We appreciate... More

We shared the Can Majo special paella. It is served for two people only. It was excellent. The service was cold and distant. We ate under the canopy on the beach, beautiful setting.

Been here twice. Sat outside and enjoyed the great view of the Mediterranean. The octopus with potatoes and the fried artichokes were outstanding. The paella was good too. A little pricey but you are paying for the view, which is wot it.
