Stopped in because we were walking past and heard the Piano being played and noticed a list of great Ales. Lovely ambience and friendly service. Only wished we had time to try the food.

Ok so as the story goes my friend, the vegetarian said i should check this place out. She lived in barcelona for a few months and suggested i check it out, knowing i was on the verge of becoming a vegetarian convert. While it seemed tricky to catch this place when they were open, it was worth the minor hassle....

Great place to sample some Catalan micro brews at a great price. The all vegan menu and alternative music give this place an earthy feel.
A must for beer and/or cats lovers.Have vegeterian food and a really nice atmosphere and staff. I drank "Fort", a beer which is made in Barcelona. You should give it a try if you love strong beers.
The place is VERY dirty, the floor, chairs, tables, evertything. We had a daily menu, where the inculed drink was tapwater... and still had some washing-up liquid on it. The leek and potato soup was ok, however the hummus had a funny taste. As a main course I had spinach and pesto tortilla, which was full of mushrooms. I guess...

We recently got a "best veggie burger in Spain" award, which seems to have upset some people in Barcelona.
If there was anything wrong with your food, or you just didn't like it, we will always replace it, but you didn't say anything was wrong while you were in the bar?
The floor is cleaned twice a day, the table...

The room was not big. Small but feel cozy. The price is cheap. I like bartenders, two girls, nice person.
Great place for trying Catalan beers, standard Brit food and some varied specials (eg paella on Thursday or English roast on Sunday). 100% vegan too! The mix of people you get in here is excellent, lots of Catalans, Spanish folks and of course us foreigners! The place is very popular though (such good value) so you might have to wait...

The food is pretty good, but there are lots of amazing places in Barcelona to get Vegan food.
The place is massively understaffed. The girls who work their are lovely, but they need more support than they get as it's always busy and there's very rarely more than one girl on the restaurant floor. The food is expensive, especially when...

We are sorry your group got into an argument with a drunk customers at the bar assuming him to be "the manager", his views are his own, not the bars.
If the staff needed any extra help I was a phone call away.
We are sorry your group thinks 10:90€ is too expensive for a 4 course meal which consists...

I have been to Cat bar a few times, it was normally understaffed and quite expensive but the food was quite good. They recently changed this, however, to make the food more expensive by removing the beer from the menu without telling the customers.
The food before this was good, but expensive, now it is too expensive and you will...

Found this place on my first night in Barcelona, got there really late after a gig and they could fix me some night crub, excellent risotto! Had a really nice pint of ale and they even gave me a complementary piece of cake for deserts! Very friendly English owner, one of the staff was Swedish. Went there several times during...
