Great tapas ,in a beautiful typical this part of Spain restaurant ,good service, lovely waitresses ( always helps) no problems for us ,we would recommend.
This was a great find - down a little cobbled side street in the main centre. The food was absolutely fantastic - I had pork in 'Trillo sauce' which was cooked to perfection, the presentation was beautiful with a small ball of rice and the best fries I have ever had! They look like french fries but all curly like... More
We had been to El Trillo three times and the meal was fantastic. Last weekend we visited Malaga with friends and told them we knew of a lovely restaurant for dinner. Not one of us enjoyed our meal. We actually thought it may have new owners it was so disappointing.
The seafood paella was okay. My husband ordered the grilled chicken and it was terrible. Let's just say he was served with a greasy plate of french fries with a very thin filet of bland and tasteless chicken.
Lovely food, very accommodating waiters, great atmosphere. A really pleasant experience in central Malaga. Recommend chicken paella in particular. Went back for a second visit despite our determination to try a variety of establishments whilst in Malaga. Café across street did great ice creams too.
You really have to try this restaurant, it's one of the best in Malaga! The food is delicious, no wonder El Trillo is recommended by Michelin. It's a place with a charming atmosphere, prices are reasonable and reflect the quality of the food & service. Oh, and you can also eat a late dinner if you'd like to.
My wife and I enjoyed an excellent meal in this charming restaurant. The staff were both knowledgable and charming, and the evening was a complete delight. The cost reflected the quality of the meal, but not inany way prohibitive.
We enjoyed dinner here on two evenings during our 5 day stay in Malaga. We sat inside on our first visit and loved the cosy 'Taberna' interior, which we thought much more interesting and comfortable than any other restaurant we dined in during our visit. The dinner was great, with a wonderful seafood Paella and excellent value bottle of white... More
We have been to Malaga many times on cruise stops and we always go to El Trillo for a tapas lunch. The croquettes are outstanding. This is a restaurant recommended by Michelin. After coming the first time we have been coming back ever since. The restaurant has maintained its good Michelin rating. The restaurant is located adjacent to one of... More
El Trillo is situated in a great location in a side street just off the busy pedestrianised shopping street (Calle Marques de Larios) with seating both inside and outside. We went for lunch and chose to eat inside. The ambience was very appealing; the decor was traditional Spanish rustic; the lighting was subtle and subdued. The table settings were very... More
