But not many restaurants are open now. Francisco is the exception. Most people are now eating inside. I had an excellent sea-food snack there today as the photos show. I have reviewed Francisco la Fontanilla together with its neighbour La Fontanilla. This is not a "chiringuito": it's a permanent establishment which just happens to be on the beach.

The sunset just after we arrived was spectacular. We enjoyed very good fish, seafood and meat. In our opinion it is the better of the 2 restaurants on the seafront at Playa de la Fontanilla. Recommended.
