Lack of spices seem to be the tendency in Germany, and the food at Cafe Especial could do with some more of it. Apart from that it's a quiet place during the day, very popular in the evening, and the food is good. Lots of options on the menu, and they have menus in several languages.

Went there recently for a school reunion which was great. And returned a bit later with my girlfriend. Simple but cosy. Warm atmosphere. Friendly service. We had empanadas and some cocktail. Try the cocktails. The place is big enough for parties and cosy enough for a visit with two.
